Interrogative sentence- Interrogative sentence denotes to ask a question.

प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों से प्रश्न पूछने का बोध होता है|

Example-       Is this a table?

  Are you playing?

Sentence

Imperative sentence- Imperative sentence denotes to advise, order, request, or propose.

आज्ञासूचक वाक्यों से सलाह, आदेश, प्रार्थना या प्रस्ताव करने का बोध होता है|

Example-        Help the needy. (Advice)

                       Stand up. (Order)

             Please give me a pen. (Request)

   Let’s go to play cricket. (Proposal

Sentence

Exclamatory sentence- Exclamatory sentence denotes surprise, joy, grief, fear, compassion, hatred etc.

आश्चर्यबोधक वाक्यों से आश्चर्य, हर्ष, शोक, भय, करुणा, घृणा आदि का बोध होता है|

Example-        What a beautiful girl she is!

                        How pleasant the rain is!

                        Alas! I am ruined.

                        Bravo!

    Hurrah!

Sentence

Optative sentence- Optative sentence denotes to bless, curse or desire.

 इच्छाबोधक से आशीर्वाद,अभिशाप या कमाना(इच्छा) का बोध होता है|

Example-       May you live long!

  May you go to hell!
